Résumé

Cet article vise à contempler les troubles des apprentissages couverts par la DSMV, en examinant leurs caractéristiques, mais surtout ce que ces troubles impliquent sur le plan émotionnel dans le développement de l'enfant. Comme nous observons que les aspects cognitifs sont plus fréquemment considérés comme les principales cibles du diagnostic et du traitement, nous entendons mettre en lumière les caractéristiques émotionnelles présentes dans ces troubles. La notion de frustration sera également abordée dans cet article, car nous comprenons qu'elle reflète les difficultés émotionnelles rencontrées ainsi que les moyens de surmonter les obstacles à la tolérance et à la résilience. De plus, nous proposerons des techniques de thérapie comportementale dialectique (TCD) pour accueillir et traiter émotionnellement ces enfants diagnostiqués avec ces troubles. Nous pensons que la raison et l'émotion font partie d'un continuum indissociable du développement humain, c'est pourquoi nous mettrons en évidence le biais émotionnel implicite dans les difficultés d'apprentissage, en soulignant cet élément fondamental pour une gestion et un traitement adéquats.
